Female visitors to Aspen Ridge stay in these cabins. There are two cabin groupings, one for first-year girls and the other for those who have stayed here before.

| Aspen Forest
The forest that surrounds the camp consists primarily of aspen trees, but there are other species present as well. It's also the scene for many a hike or nature walk.

| Lake Dalonige
The Cherokee word 'dalonige', pronounced "dah-low-neh-gay" means "yellow." The lake takes its name from the color reflected in its waters in autumn, when the leaves of the aspen trees that surround it change to a brilliant golden hue.

Like the lake, the Mountain that stands over the camp takes its name from a word in the Cherokee language, in this case, the word for 'friend' (pronounced 'dee-gee-nay-lee'). It is the hope of the camp's founders that this place will serve as a place of bonding, so the name seems somewhat appropriate. For those in the mood for a good (if somewhat strenuous) hike, or some rock climbing or rappelling, the mountain is an appealing destination.

If you're tired of swimming in the lake, there are two large swimming pools in this building, as well as a hot tub. It's off-limits after 10:00 PM.

For those who've had enough of the outdoors, the rec center is an air-conditioned escape. It houses a pool table, ping-pong tables, board games, chairs, tables, computers, and other indoor activities.

If it's raining outside or if you're just in the mood for indoor sports, this is the place to go. There are basketball hoops, volleyball nets, and plenty of room to play dodgeball.

| Official Journals
Campers at Aspen Ridge are required to keep a journal, which is turned in for evaluation at the end of the camping season. These journals allow the counselers to give feedback to the concerned parents who have sent their offspring here.

Some campers also keep journals for their own personal use, journals which aren't turned in at the end of the year. These usually hold somewhat more private details of the campers' lives than the official journals.
